Rappresentati?

Riporto un messaggio ricevuto da un'amica che abita a San Francisco. Preferisco evitare qualsiasi commento sui nostri "Rappresentanti all'estero".

Unfortunately the Italian Consulate in San Francisco is impossible. We have made some inquiries to people with connections to them and they confirm that phones are not answered, calls and emails are not returned, and they do not make appointments . . . not even for their friends! We are advised that the best we can do is to go there sometime during the middle of the week and hope that we get to see someone. I was told that the people at this office are "like a mix of a cowboy and a playboy" and local Italians are embarrased by the situation!
